New Delhi [India]April 3 (ANI): Ron Malka, the previous Israeli envoy to India, mentioned that he has taken over as the chief chairman of Haifa Port Firm (HPC), which is owned by Indian ports-based mostly vitality conglomerate Adani Group.

“I am honored and privileged to take over today as Executive Chairman of Haifa Port Company on behalf of @AdaniOnline. In July 2022, a consortium of Adani Ports and Particular Financial Zone Restricted (APSEZ) and Israel’s Gadot Group received the tender to privatize the Haifa port for USD 1.18 billion.

Haifa port is situated within the north of Israel. It’s shut to the town of Haifa, Israel’s third largest metropolis. It’s one of the main industrial areas of Israel.

It handles about half of Israel’s container cargo and is a significant port for passenger visitors and cruise ships.
